In a performance installation, streamed live into the Salle Commune from a secret location hidden within Ateliers Belleville, the artists aim to create an atmosphere and present new music; revealing, in the process, the conditions that make musical creation possible. The setting evokes a movie set: smoke, candles, old VHS films projected silently, and several cameras capturing details of the set, with the footage displayed in the main space. An artist is always present, sleeping on a camping bed when not arranging the set. On Fridays and Saturdays, a thirty-minute concert will be presented to the public on a screen in the common room.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans une installation performative, diffus\u00e9e en continu par streaming dans la Salle Commune \u00e0 partir d\u2019un lieu secret situ\u00e9 quelque part dans les Ateliers Belleville, les artistes cr\u00e9ent une ambiance et pr\u00e9sentent de nouvelles musiques, tout en illustrant les conditions propices \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation musicale. Le d\u00e9cor \u00e9voque un plateau de cin\u00e9ma : fum\u00e9e, bougies, vieux films sur VHS projet\u00e9s en silence, plusieurs cam\u00e9ras braqu\u00e9es sur des d\u00e9tails diffus\u00e9s en direct par streaming. Un artiste est toujours pr\u00e9sent, dormant sur un lit de camp, quand il n'est pas occup\u00e9 \u00e0 agencer le d\u00e9cor. Le vendredi et le samedi, un concert sera offert au public par le biais d\u2019un \u00e9cran install\u00e9 dans la Salle Commune en plus de la performance dans le cadre de SIGHT + SOUND.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
