These encounters are not smooth; they generate tensions, friction, and temporary points of equilibrium. The project explores these intermediate spaces as living territories in constant evolution. Based on a shared vision of sound and image as living materials, “No acabarán mis flores” centers on Soledad’s singing voice, rooted in Mexican folk music, which is transformed in real time using digital processing. Meanwhile, Marwan starts with real-world images that he deconstructs live through various glitch techniques. These altered images gradually evolve into repetitive, structured forms reminiscent of Moroccan zelliges—glazed terracotta mosaic tiles—which are characteristic of the country’s traditional crafts and, more broadly, of Arab-Andalusian architecture.

Marsol

Marsol is a duo consisting of Soledad Coyoli on sound and Marwan Sekkat on visuals.
