softwarewolfe is a Tio’tia:ke-based artist and DJ known for genre-fluid sets rooted in global club culture. In 2024, he founded Fence Hop, a PWYC open-format rave series held in unconventional spaces, bringing together DJs, VJs, and a broader ecosystem of multidisciplinary contributors. Drawing from his early years as a bassist and singer in a political punk band, his work reflects a belief in music’s power to mobilize, cultivating dancefloors for connection and collective liberation.

Stephen Beaupré

Stephen Beaupré is a pioneering figure in Montreal’s electronic music scene, with over two decades of innovation in techno and micro-house. As both a DJ and live performer, he crafts immersive, emotive soundscapes blending intricate electronic textures with organic elements, catchy hooks, and haunting vocals.

Starting as a promoter and DJ in his teens in Ottawa, he became a key force in Montreal. In the early 2000s, he gained recognition as half of Crackhaus with Deadbeat (Scott Monteith), praised for their distinctive fusion of styles. His debut solo album, Foe Destroyer (2006), showcased his refined micro-sampling and layered synthesis. He has since released on respected labels like Circus Company, Wagon Repair, and Perlon. In 2010, he expanded into audiovisual work with Gemmiform, exploring immersive, multisensory experiences. Following Kill Sugar (2018), he returned in 2024 with Vanishing Night, continuing his deep, melodic, voice-driven approach, with more releases planned beyond 2026.
