No acabarán mis flores

No acabarán mis flores explores the encounter between the human voice and the voice of machines, between organic glitch and constructed patterns, and between Mexican and Moroccan heritage. These encounters are not smooth; they generate tensions, friction, and temporary points of equilibrium. The project explores these intermediate spaces as living territories in constant evolution. Based on a shared vision of sound and image as living materials, “No acabarán mis flores” centers on Soledad’s singing voice, rooted in Mexican folk music, which is transformed in real time using digital processing. Meanwhile, Marwan starts with real-world images that he deconstructs live through various glitch techniques. These altered images gradually evolve into repetitive, structured forms reminiscent of Moroccan zelliges—glazed terracotta mosaic tiles—which are characteristic of the country’s traditional crafts and, more broadly, of Arab-Andalusian architecture.
Marsol

Marsol is a duo consisting of Soledad Coyoli on sound and Marwan Sekkat on visuals. They met in 2023 at a performance event where they discovered the connections between their artistic practices. Both seek to bridge traditional craft practices, rooted in their respective cultural heritages, and digital media. Their work has already been presented at Casa del Popolo, at Everyday Ago’s Festival Of Time 2026, and at Hexagram.
